| Description: | An extended Gerogian pub, the main part retains its essential three-bay symmetry. The interior was totally refurbished early in 2005 in a light contemporary style. Three separate rooms, a bar area for drinking and dining where smoking is permitted, a lounge with soft leather sofas and an open fire during the winter months for non-smoking dining. Separate totally non smoking dining room, seating up to 60, available for private hire mid week. Comprehensive food menu, with changing specials board. Traditional Sunday Lunch served 12pm to 4.30pm. Extensive wine list, wines supplied by a small local independent wine merchant Landscaped large outdoor garden and dining area. Until early the 2005 the pub was called the Granville Arms. The Granville family once owned nearby Wellesbourne Hall. Easy to reach from the M40 at junction 15 (Longbridge), take the A429 sign posted to Stow. | ||||||||

The management team are celebrating winning the Best Restaurant award
and the Champion of Local Produce award at the annual Coventry &
Warwickshire Food & Drink Awards in the autumn of 2007. Landlady, Val Kersey, who has only been in charge since spring 2007 was delighted and
praised her hard working, dedicated and professional team for creating a
top quality regional dining pub.
